World Rowing teams up with voice of the NFL & Super Bowl Alan Roach for exciting new Beach Sprint discipline

World Rowing, the world’s governing body for the sport of Rowing, is thrilled to announce its collaboration with Public Announcer Alan Roach, the iconic “Voice of the Super Bowl” for the exciting new Beach Sprint Rowing Discipline.
This partnership marks a significant milestone as World Rowing aims to propel the Beach Sprint Discipline towards its inclusion in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles 2028.
Alan Roach, a legendary figure in sports announcing, is known for his illustrious career, having lent his captivating voice to some of the most prestigious sporting events worldwide. However, Roach’s latest venture with World Rowing, has ignited a new passion and enthusiasm.
Roach’s excitement comes on the heels of the 2023 World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals, which recently concluded in the beautiful coastal city of Barletta, Italy. The event showcased the thrilling nature of Beach Sprint Rowing and demonstrated its potential as a global spectacle. With this successful event as a springboard, World Rowing is now laser-focused on cultivating and nurturing the discipline to make it a permanent feature of the Olympic Games.
