FIVB President Dr Ary S Graça F° stated: “We are delighted to be heading to Australia for the first time in Beach Volleyball World Championships history as the global growth and popularity of the sport continues to accelerate. Volleyball World CEO Finn Taylor commented: “Australia's selection as the host for 2025 locks in the next exciting chapter for beach volleyball, and we have no doubt Adelaide will showcase an experience like no other. We want our events to be more than just a competition; it’s about bringing an exciting and engaging festival of beach volleyball to the fans.”

Adelaide has been the spiritual home of elite beach volleyball in Australia for almost three decades with many of our top athletes training at the SASI based national training centre, home to our beach Volleyroos since the Sydney 2000 Olympic preparations. The countdown begins today for the world to join us and the world's best players and fans in Adelaide 2025,” he said.
The Premier of South Australia Peter Malinauskas MP said: “South Australia has a proud history of hosting major events, and we’re going to put on an incredible show for the Beach Volleyball World Championships in 2025.
